2010 Mercedes-Benz E550 – 5.5L V8 – Highly Optioned – $68K MSRP
Widely regarded as one of the best modern Mercedes-Benz models ever built, the 2011 E550 features a rare and desirable 5.5L Naturally Aspirated V8—a powertrain offered only for two years (2010–2011). This engine was replaced in later models by a 4.6L twin-turbo V8, which came with a long list of known issues. In contrast, the 5.5L V8 is a proven, time-tested powerplant that had its key issues resolved by this generation.
